Clear your calendar! Our 3rd annual, new and improved Sunburst Amazing Race kicks off on May 20th, and you're invited to take part in the festivities. We are ready for another great year of fun to benefit our Sunburst Crisis Fund! The crisis fund directly supports those suffering with mental illness in the Flathead Valley. Come have fun, dress up, eat, run, and promote mental health awareness!

SPECIFICS!

This will be a day full of fun! We took your suggestions from last year, and made many improvements and additions to this years event. Come and join us for either a day full of fun in Depot Park and/or join in the competition!

THE FESTIVITIES:

Before, during, and after the race our beautiful community is invited to join us in promoting Mental Health Awareness! During the race we'll have music, food vendors, special guests with their own stations, raffle items, children/family games, and special guests! Stop by, or spend the day!

THE RACE:

The Amazing Race Starting line is at Depot Park. The race will begin at 11:00, so competitors should begin registration process at 9:00. Rules will be provided to competitors during registration, but are also available to view below.

TICKETS:

Tickets to race are available for $15 (pre-register by 5/1/20017) or $20 at the event. For information about obtaining tickets, please call Mandy or Josh at 406-756-8721. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Sunburst Mental Health front desk, M-F from 9 to 5 after March 5th. Sunburst is located at: 2282 Highway 93 South.

When purchasing your tickets, you will be asked for your requested T-Shirt Size, name, and phone number.

Race Rules

Race competitors must follow all traffic laws and regulations. i.e, follow traffic signals and be mindful of driver/pedestrian safety.

No use of motor vehicles, or any type of 'wheels' including bicycles, skateboards, skooters, etc. The only exception to this, is the use of a wheelchair for persons with disabilities.

While completing challenges in community locations, Race competitors are asked to be respectful of community property.

If contestants are suspected of cheating during a challenge, or using prohibited transportation assistance they may be issued a time penalty or disqualified.
